Universal Forces™ has the advantage of players starting with a level playing area at a NOVICE level, which can be changed to multiple level play as players learn the mechanics of the game and then require a more challenging game in the MASTER level. This circular area can be adjusted to reflect multiple levels of play whereas the games of old only had a single rectangular plane for the playing area.

Universal Forces™ can be played with two, three or four players or corresponding teams with no advantage or disadvantage to any player or team. Also, the power of the game playing pieces (“forces”) are circular in nature, which means that there does not exist an all powerful playing piece that is stronger than all of the other playing pieces.

Each player, during the course of the game, has the goal of getting each of their unique forces from the outer edge of the circular playing area and moving them progressively towards the centre and then off to their home card. This must be accomplished while attempting to prevent or block opponents from completing the same goal to win. Everything is in full view and hence a player cannot bluff or fool the other players. Therefore, a player’s power of persuasion becomes very important and often, temporary alliances are made in order to prevent a specific player from winning the game. This adds an entire new angle and thrill to the strategy of this game. In essence you are not just playing against the other forces that are on the board but you are also playing against or with other players, depending on the circumstances.

Universal Forces™ is a very unique game and can be as simple or as complex as players want it to be. The game is very easy to learn and often, at first glance, appears to be deceptively easy. However as players progress through the game it can be seen that this game is in fact challenging, strategic and not as easy as was initially thought.

Players can be as young as eight years old. Younger players can play quite effectively and enjoyably with other younger or older players. Universal Forces™ can be played as a family or friends game. It can also be played in a full tournament mode setting with the advantage of having more than two players on a single game. This provides a new added dimension of complexity that cannot be experienced with the traditional two-player configuration. In the four-player configuration, players can play as individuals or can be paired into two teams.
